How long does an ISO 9001 implementation take?
It depends on the size and maturity of the company — typically 3 to 9 months from the gap assessment to the certification audit. Because documentation and processes are created directly in our QMS platform, most of the manual work that takes the longest in a classic implementation simply disappears.
How much does certification cost?
The cost consists of consulting and the certification body's audit, and depends on the size of the company and the number of standards. Slovenian companies can obtain up to 60 % in subsidies for implementing management systems — we check eligibility together on a free call and help with the application.
Do we need a full-time quality manager?
No. That is exactly why we built the platform: reminders, approval workflows, acknowledgement records and indicators run automatically, and we support you with internal audits and maintenance. Most of our clients are small and medium-sized companies without a separate quality department.
What if we fail the audit?
In practice this does not happen — before the certification audit (stage 2) we guide you through an internal audit and a pre-audit (stage 1) where all key gaps are closed. In 17 years every one of our clients has obtained their certificate.
Can we use just the platform, without consulting?
Yes. The E-KAKOVOST platform works on its own — documentation, audits, CAPA, complaints and KPIs. If you already have a management system, you simply digitise it; add consulting whenever you need it.
Where is our data stored?
Exclusively in the EU (Frankfurt), with daily encrypted backups (AES-256), two-factor login (MFA) and role-based access. For auditors you can export the complete audit trail to PDF.
